Staff from Carillion and Aramark raised a fantastic £2,300 during 2013 for the Afghan Appeal Fund through a series of events at their Northwood branches. Cheltenham College Junior School raise £9,782

During 2012, children and staff at Cheltenham College Junior School worked extremely hard to raise an astonishing £9,782 for the Afghan Appeal Fund. To celebrate the 30th year of Sandy Gall’s Afghanistan Appeal, a joint fundraising event was held at the historic Cliveden House Hotel on Oct 1st 2012 with the Afghan Appeal Fund. Mrs. Anne-Mette Rasmussen handed over donations raised at a charity ball at NATO headquarters to benefit the Afghan Appeal Fund, a non-governmental organisation which raises funds to help Afghan children. AAF cricket team Pakistan tour hailed a resounding success

A British cricket team have returned home following a highly acclaimed tour in Pakistan. Except for Afghanistan, they are the first International team to play in Pakistan since the Sri Lankan cricket team were attacked three years ago.
