Sunday saw the third Afghan Appeal Fund ‘Day of Cricket’ at the magnificent Burton Court by kind permission of General Peter Currie and the Royal Hospital, Chelsea, with teams from AAF, Freshfields, Army Wanderers and Eton College competing. A new team has joined the line up for the Afghan Appeal Fund Day of Cricket at Burton’s Court in June. A British cricket team have returned home following a highly acclaimed tour in Pakistan. Except for Afghanistan, they are the first International team to play in Pakistan since the Sri Lankan cricket team were attacked three years ago.
