Introduction
Welcome to the JHQ Monopoly Live page.  The Afghan Appeal Fund  are giving you, your mates, colleagues or members of your family a CHANCE to win a unique JHQ board by taking part in a real live version of the iconic game on Sat 24 Apr 10.

The Event
The aim of the game is to visit ALL sites on the JHQ Monopoly LIVE game board in the shortest possible time. The event is a mix between orienteering and a treasure hunt and will cover a distance of approximately 10 kms in a maximum time allowance of 4 hours.
Team members will be expected to take part in mental or physical challenges to gain time bonuses that will be deducted from the final time.
A team is defined as four members. 
Teams may not use any other form of transport other than travel on foot.
Fancy dress is optional but BONUS POINTS will be awarded.
The course will open at 1030hrs and close at 1600hrs.

Participation
The event is open to all Service personnel within NATO, their family dependants and locally employed civilians from NATO military establishments.
There is no minimum age but primary school age children should be accompanied by an adult at all times and no teams containing only under 14’s may take part.

Prize
The team that completes the challenge in the quickest time will be declared the winner and win the JHQ MONOPOLY LIVE BOARD.

Service Accommodation
Limited barrack accommodation is available to military participants on camp. All queries JHQ Mil (72) ext 4062.

Registration
Pre-registration is preferred. The event is limited to 60 teams and is on a first come first served basis. Registration will be available on the day from 1000hrs if the course maximum has not been achieved.
Closing date for postal entries is Friday 16 April 2010.

Entrance Fee
€10.00/£10.00 per person - €40.00 per team – postal application.
An extra €10.00 per team will be charged for entry on the day.
