The Buzkashi Ball was a fantastic success, and just over £23,000 was raised.  To everyone involved in the organisation of the event and to all those who supported us on the night: THANK YOU. Gloucester, Slim and Montgomery Schools all provided some wonderful Afghan artwork for the ball. Thank you to all those teachers and children who helped make the event such a special occasion. You can see lots of examples of their amazing work below.

   

    

Although Ross Kemp was not able to attend, he has since agreed to be a patron of the Afghan Appeal Fund which is fantastic news.

Buzkashi Ball Bonanza Raffle
Congratulations to Gemma Oh who won the Nokia SMART phone in the garrison wide raffle. The raffle raised £2454 for the Afghan Appeal Fund - thanks to Esther, Mandy and Jan for all their hard work.
