Owen Lyttle - a TA officer on tour in Kabul - completed the Tour Afghanistan challenge to raise money for the Afghan Appeal Fund and Help for Heroes.  Tour Afghanistan is a notional cycle tour of Afghanistan conducted from the gym.  The distance of the route is 1730km and represents a route starting from Kabul through Kandahar (in the south); Herat (in the west); Malmana; Mazar-e-Sharif (in the north); finishing back at Kabul. 

Owen completed the tour in 40 days over July and August 2009 and raised over £650 for the Afghan Appeal Fund.
